We are very good at putting barriers in our way when it comes to making changes and exercise is one thing we often find hard to fit in to our lives. If going to the gym or to a class seems overwhelming some days, then I recommend my clients and class participants to keep it really simple.
Get outdoors for a walk or a bike ride, meet a friend for a run around the park or do an online workout at home and 15 minutes really is enough if you do a concentrated workout. If you are feeling stiff, choose Pilates or Yoga, if you are looking to increase your general fitness choose a cardio or body conditioning session.
Start to look at incorporating exercise naturally in to your daily routine, maybe get your children involved rather than seeing it as yet another thing you have to make time for in your busy life.
